Basic guidelines for using STARGLOW Powders

  • More powder / mix ration will produce brighter, longer glow.

  • Use a white, or a light colour as the background for the best results. Any colour other than white may diminish the glow.

  • Use the clearest medium possible. Any pigment in the medium will decrease the brightness and duration of the glow.

  • Generally speaking, the thicker the layer of Glow Powder, the longer and brighter the afterglow.

  • Do not use mediums with a high acidity.

  • Do not grind the Glow Powder, it will destroy the crystal structure and therefore decrease luminosity.

  • The larger the particle size of the Glow Powder the greater the glow.

  • Ratio of Glow Powder to medium is from 10 to 40% by weight depending on application and manufacture process.

These are just guidelines and the user should use their best judgement in working with the pigments.
